Beautiful teeth, perfect in shape and colour, without drilling or grinding. Nowadays, highly aesthetic dental resins make it possible to reshape and optimise one’s own teeth through application and building-up, without becoming invasive. Discoloured fillings in the front and side teeth areas can be replaced and made invisible by multi-coloured filling resins.
Generally speaking, endodontology is the name of the dental sub-discipline that deals with diseases of the dental pulp and the bone structures surrounding the roots. If the pulp is irreversibly inflamed or dead, a root canal treatment is performed. The pulp and the softened hard tooth substance – including the bacteria contained therein – are removed and sealed in a bacteria-proof fashion.
Periodontitis is a chronic disease of the periodontium, which can develop as a result of untreated gingivitis (inflammation of the gums).
Bacteria cause an inflammatory reaction around the teeth and into the jawbone. Plaque, smoking, stress and certain genetic factors favour the development of periodontitis, which often goes unnoticed for years because this process is initially painless. If left untreated, it leads to tooth loss and has a negative effect on the entire organism.
During periodontal therapy, all bacterial plaque in the gum pockets is thoroughly removed by a dental hygienist. At least as important as the initial treatment is regular follow-up care (supportive periodontal therapy), as well as professionally guided oral hygiene at home. With these simple measures, it’s possible to preserve teeth for the long-term.
Orthodontic therapies are by no means reserved for the treatment of children and adolescents, but can also be carried out on adults. This involves the correction of all types of malocclusions of the teeth and jaws, which are carried out for functional as well as cosmetic/aesthetic reasons.
This treatment is carried out with removable and fixed appliances (multi-band), on request almost invisibly with ceramic brackets or splint systems (aligners) as well.
The costs of orthodontic treatment are covered by statutory health insurance until patients reach the age of 18 (in exceptional cases even longer), provided that the malocclusion is a medical indication according to the KIK classification.

Nowadays, dental implants make it possible in many cases to replace lost teeth in a routine and natural way.
Under local anaesthesia, an implant modelled on the natural tooth root is firmly anchored in the jawbone. After a healing period depending on the existing jaw bone, a fixed crown is placed on the implant or a fixed denture on several implants.
With good oral hygiene and regular professional prophylaxis treatment, implants can achieve the durability of natural teeth.
Dentures are always used when a tooth can no longer be permanently repaired with a filling or one or more teeth have been lost.
With the right dentures, dental aesthetics as well as speech and chewing functions are restored or improved.
Fixed dentures, which can be anchored to the natural teeth or to implants, include:
Removable/combined dentures include:
Using a 3Shape Trios scanner in our surgery, the situation in a patient’s mouth is quickly and highly precisely scanned with a camera and a digital image created. Unpleasant jaw impressions are no longer required.
Based on these photos, special software can calculate an exact model.
The denture is manufactured with the highest possible precision on this computer model.
In the meantime, scanning of clinical situations has become an integral part of our daily treatment routines.
Benefits for our patients:
In order to be able to offer you high-quality dentures, we work together with our own in-house dental laboratory. Five specialised dental technicians produce high-precision and highly aesthetic dentures using the latest digital CAD/CAM milling technology. A dental surgery and dental laboratory under one roof enable perfect communication in the shortest possible way and optimise the course and outcome of your treatment.
Benefits for our patients:
X-rays are exclusively taken digitally in our surgery.

DVT enables the highly precise spatial representation of anatomical structures.
With this device, three-dimensional images can be created that guarantee us optimal treatment planning e.g. in implantology, surgery or periodontology.
During professional tooth cleaning, all hard and soft plaque is first removed with the aid of hand or ultrasonic instruments, then bacterial plaque and stubborn discolouration (e.g. caused by coffee, tea or nicotine consumption) is removed using a powder jet device.
The teeth are then polished with a prophylactic paste to smooth the tooth surfaces and thus make it more difficult for new bacteria to colonise the teeth or cause new discolouration.
Finally, a special fluoride varnish is applied to all teeth to protect the enamel.
To prevent caries, the furrows and pits (fissures) are sealed with a thin liquid plastic.
This makes the chewing surfaces smoother, easier to clean and less susceptible to caries.
Bleaching is a method of whitening teeth for aesthetic reasons.
We carry out a professional cleaning of the teeth beforehand, whereby disruptive pigments and plaque, which could limit the effect of the bleaching agent, are removed from the surface of the teeth.
In our surgery we use Phillips Zoom. The benefits for our patients are:
